Couch UK is an independent brand designing and producing super bold, hand-finished clothing and accessories from our studio in Bath, Somerset. Founded by Gabriel Russell in 1997, first making Clipper lighter covers from a Vicarage, then expanding into accessories and clothing, all inspired by our exploits in the early rave scene. 

Everything is still made in-house from our workshop. We mix our own paints and inks, working with unusually high concentrations of UV/blacklight-reactive pigments to achieve an eye popping intensity. Each piece goes through a hands-on process that can include stitching, melting, printing, splatting, stencilling, and scraping, often combined and reworked in layers. No two items come out the same.

What began underground has grown into an international presence, supplying stores across the UK (including Cyberdog), Europe, the US, and Japan, alongside ongoing custom work and one-off commissions. Production remains small-scale and manual. The variation is intentional  a direct result of the materials, the process, and where it all started.
